1. Prime Rib
Set Prime Rib out at room temperature 45 to 60 minutes
Season Prim Rib well using Shalhoob Original Seasoning
Preheat Oven to 500 degrees
Place in oven for 30 minutes at 500 degrees
Turn oven down to 375 degrees
Cook for an additional 1 to 1-1/2 hours
Check with meat thermometer
Pull roast out at 120 degrees
Total cooking time will be approximately 2 hours
Wrap in foil and let stand for 1 hour before carving
2. Filet Mignon Roast
Set roast out for 30 minutes at room temperature
Season well using Shalhoob Original Seasoning
Pre heat oven to 500 degrees
Put roast on roasting rack
Place in oven for 20 minutes at 500 degrees
Turn oven to 425 degrees
Cook for an additional 10 to 25 minutes
Check with meat thermometer
Pull roast out at 120 degrees
Total cooking time will be approximately 25 to 45 minutes
Let stand for 20 to 30 minutes before carving
3. Pan Seared – Oven Finished Steak
For this application we suggest that the steaks be cut a minimum of 1-3/4” to 2” thick
You can also use this method for thick cut pork and lamb
Let meat sit out for 30 to 40 minutes before cooking
Season meat well using Shalhoob original seasoning
Using a cast iron skillet get skillet as hot as you can
Sear meat in pan on both sides using butter or olive oil
Preheat oven to 500 degrees
Place steak on baking rack so heat can get underneath meat
Place in oven for about 10 to 14 minutes and bring to desired temperature:
120 degrees for rare
130/135 for medium
140-150 degrees for well done
4. Frenched Pork Rack
Set rib rack out at room temperature for 30 minutes
Season well using Shalhoob Original Seasoning
Preheat oven to 500 degrees
Place in oven for 15 to 20 minutes at 500 degrees
Turn oven to 375 degrees
Total cooking time will be approximately 1 hour
Check with meat thermometer
Pull out at 145 degrees
5. Boneless Turkey Breast
Season well using Shalhoob original seasoning
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Check with meat thermometer
Total cooking time for double breast will be approximately 2-1/2 hours
Pull out at 145 degrees
Total cooking time for single breast will be approximately 2 hours
Pull out at 145 degrees
Let sit for about 20 minutes before cutting
